Which of your parents are you most like? Your mother or your father?

I have to honestly say I am a lot like both of them. I look in the mirror and I can see my father and I can also see a resemblence to my mother. I have been told that I look like both of them, depending on who I am talking to. I have my dad's bone structure and eyes and nose but my hair and chin makes me look like my mother. My great gramdmother on my dad's side of the family was full bloodedI indian and you can see the bone structure in my face.

As far as my personality goes I think I also act like them both. They both had a sense of humor and a serious side. My behind felt the serious side of my mother when I was growing up. My father never disciplined me because he was gone most of the time trying to make a living so mother did any discipline that was needed. Many times it was with a belt or a green willow stick. I do not hold anything against her though because I feel it made me a better person because of it.

Children today are not discliplined most of the time so they are unruly and the crime rate is much higher today because of it. Teenagers lash out at others, especially their parents, today and they think they do not need to be told what to do. Many of them will lie, steal, and cheat thinking that it is ok. They disobey the teachers, and their parents and when it is time for them to get out and find a job, they think the world owes them something. They disrespect adults but still expect to be given whatever they want just because they ask for it. They do not understand the word "no" because they were not disciplined when they needed it most and that was in their young, growing up years. If discipline is not given to them when they are young (and I do not mean beating them), they will become juvenile deliquents, or worse. heaven help us when the older generation is gone and the younger generation rules the world.
